OUR FARMERS AND FABRICS

Our entire supply chain is respectful to our planet, its people & agriculture, from the organic cotton farms in India, to our Melbourne knitting mill, our cutters and makers in Sydney and then to you, all operations are proudly committed to excellence.

Sustainability is front and centre from field to finished product, opting for organic cotton, bamboo, and surplus fabrics from the bigger fashion houses.

ORGANIC COTTON

The organic cotton used in our ranges comes from small organic farms India where organic cotton crops prosper on dry land.

These farms are non reliant on genetically modified (GMO) seeds, and produce a yarn that is stronger than conventional cotton, yet softer and more luxurious to the touch. The cotton is purchased as yarn and spun into fabric here in Australia in a certified environment.

When you choose organic cotton, you are casting your vote for a healthier planet.

You are also offering farmers the opportunity to a better way of life.

We're proud to be using organic cotton, certified by Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Organic cotton is more robust, yet softer to the touch. Better for you, better for the animals, better for the planet.

SURPLUS SUPPLY

We are aware of the impact the fashion industry has on both people and our planet. Our choices are defined by options that mitigate and minimise this impact. Our fashion and lifestyle collections are almost entirely produced in surplus fabric supply. These fabrics are premium fabrics from large global brands.

MERINO

Our Merino used in our basics collection is sourced from our surplus partners. Typically, the Merino originates from New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmanian Midlands and New Zealand. Hailed for their ability to thrive in radically variable temperatures, the Australian and New Zealand Merino produces an ultra fine grade fibre.

BAMBOO

Bamboo is truly one of the world’s most sustainable, renewable resources with a booming growth rate of up to 50 cm per day! Bamboo is inherently pest-resistant, therefore, non-reliant on toxic pesticides.

Bamboo crops can actually rebuild eroded soil, their root network is so robust that even after harvest it doesn’t need to be replanted. It just shoots right back up. Hi, it’s me again!

You’ll find this super crop provides a fabric with the softest touch. We have used bamboo in our lounge wear and yoga wear. It's super flexi and super comfy. Cool in summer and warm in winter, what more could we ask for?
