A stunning, beautiful vintage Damascene rose cameo mounted on a vintage golden frame with a vintage drop of carved flowers. Set upon a rare vintage Bowdoin chain.
The wonderful and unique Damascene art-work originated in Syria and found its way to Asia and Europe during the Moorish conquest in 700AD.
Damascene jewellery is handcrafted and depicts scenes with doves, flowers, and geometric shapes.
